My name is Grady DiPietro. Rather than post a sales pitch I think it's better to just share a few videos of my student's achievements at every level of study. Please see the links below, and I will answer some common questions a little further down.

I have been studying the guitar for over twenty years, and have taught professionally full-time for the last fifteen years in Los Angeles. My wife and I recently relocated to California's central coast. I have considerable experience teaching online, and enjoy working with a roster of students all over the country! I always offer one free trial lesson. If you decide to continue I charge $25 a lesson, four lessons in advance, payable with Venmo. We must commit to the same weekly day/time for lessons.
I primarily use FaceTime and Zoom for online lessons, but can use any preferred online messaging platform. A strong internet/WiFi connection is essential for success with online lessons. You will need to have your own instrument. I can suggest reasonable well-made instruments if you haven’t already purchased one. You will also need a music stand, tuner and metronome (an app for both can be downloaded on any smartphone).
I specialize in introducing the guitar to very young children, as young as six years old, but for online lessons the ideal age is 10+. The emphasis of my lessons is enjoyment, empowerment and acquiring strong skills that can be applied to any style of playing. Beginner-Advanced, teens and adults also welcome.
I also teach electric bass which I highly recommend for anyone casually interested in learning to play. The bass is also ideal for children, and teens eager to jump right into their favorite songs by their favorite artists. That process takes years on the guitar, but a matter of months on the bass.
Lessons for children ages 6-9 are half an hour. An hour lesson is required for any student age 10+
I am happy to answer any questions you have, and look forward to speaking with anyone interested. Cheers!
