Wallace is a 3/4 Jersey x 1/4 Brown Swiss cross calf born on our farm. Large chance he is a2/a2, because of parentage, but we do not test. He has grass-fed genetics on both side and does very well on hay + pasture alone. No health issues ever. Raised organic and holistically. His dam is a 1/2 brown Swiss + 1/2 jersey mid-size cow from grass-fed lifeline dairy in Montana. She produced 5 gallons a day her first lactation and kept condition beautifully. Sire is a painted mid-size registered jersey bull with grass-fed heritage genetics, good for breeding in hand milking teats. Sire and dam's demeanor is calm and easy to work with. Wallace is the same way. Very easy going bull. Will not run at you, respectful of space. He is halter trained, but we do not work with him daily in that way. It is for emergency only or moving place to place. We raised our bull that way. It's worked really great day to day and in a pinch. First pics are of calf today, when he was a few months old and when he was born. Second set of pics is the dam and her udder. Third set is the sire. Call or text with any questions. You can email, but I don't always check that very quickly.
