• Ameraucana: hardy, great layer of blue/green eggs, these birds have been a flock staple for us
• Rhode Island Red: these hens are excellent brown egg layers, forage well and are easy to get along with.
Selling 1 year old hens $20 each:
• Bielefelder: these hens are the most docile chickens we have ever raised, continue to produce beautiful brown eggs
Selling 2 month old pullets $40 each:
• Ameraucana: these pullets are expected to begin laying in December
All these chickens are organically raised. Layer’s are in a rotated pasture setting. These offerings are fed Big Sky Organic feed while having access to forage.
Preference is to meet at a location in Helena for drop off.
