This antique wooden wagon is a wonderful vintage piece for anyone who loves primitives and antiques. We purchased this in 1979 while in the US Army and stationed in Karlsruhe, Germany. It has been a distinct accent decoration both inside our home and outside when we had large enough covered porches on our homes. Estimate early 1900s manufacture. Designed and built for multipurpose functions. The two interior sides and the front and rear ends are removable—basically leaving a wagon for carrying hay and sheaves of grain. When the sides and ends are installed, it basically becomes a conventional wagon. These removable sides and ends make this a very unique find. The imperfections are consistent with the age of the item. Shows wear on the wood and slight variations in color, scratches, and dings from use.
