1. The light-table style viewer takes two regular light bulbs (not included) and plugs in to display up to 80 slides at a time.
2. The 3X viewer takes one slide at a time and shows them at 3X magnification. It takes two "C" batteries (not included).
These are old, but they work fine and will save time when you go through your slides. You can sort out the bad slides without having to load them into your scanner to view them. I just finished scanning my boxes of slides, so no longer need these.
