The Takara “Deluxe 12” is designed for fast and light day touring. This 12-speed classic has a 23.5” frame (fits the rider with a pants inseam of approximately 33 to 33.5”). Made in Japan, possibly in the early seventies!
.Guaranteed Special Takara Hi-Tensile frame tubing is nicely lugged and pinstriped
.Suntour Seven front and rear alloy derailleurs
.DiaCompe alloy centre pull brakes with alloy extensions for different riding positions
.Sugino Tourist alloy crankset
.Pedals have toeclips and straps for increased pedaling efficiency
.27x ¼” alloy rims have alloy Suzue hubs (quick release in front)
.Jin alloy stem (it holds the handlebars)
.Takara seat (well worn) has old school rear bag attachment points and sits atop an alloy seat post
