Very solid and heavy copper fireplace tool set with a new brush. Solid copper. not bronze.

Arts and crafts style. Style from the late 1800s to WWI.

Came from a mansion in Helena, Montana - one of the homes built by the gold and cattle barrons.

Heavy construction - weighs about 30 lbs. Each tool is about 5 lbs. And the base 15 lbs. Could also serve as a weapon.

I wiped it down quickly with a brasso cleaner, but did not scrub or take off all of the patina. I was mainly cleaning it. It will dirty patina over time.

Replacement brushers are sold on ebay and amazon, but I had to trim it just a bit to make it fit. Unscrew the nut, pop in a new brush, and put the nut back on.
